Mrs. Betty came to Cross Roads in 1964 to teach music to the Kindergarten.  In 1975, when Mrs. Estep retired, Mrs. Betty became the director.  She retired from that position in 1990.  However, Mrs. Betty continued to work at Cross Roads as the church secretary until 2007.  She then became the secretary/receptionist for the childcare where she continues to be an inspiration to everyone around her.  She bagan teaching Sunday School at the young age of 18 and still teaches Sunday School for second and third graders.
